The Georgetown Recreation Center will be sponsoring a Valentines Dance for people with special needs on Wednesday, February 13. The dance from 6 to 8 pm will include food, prizes, and music.

Although we are very excited that construction on our expanded Recreation Center is moving along so quickly, things are becoming pretty crowded around here. In order to preserve our limited parking area, the next Blood Drive will be moved to Parks and Recreation's Administration Building at 1101 N.

Cupid's Chase 6k, the 13th annual run/walk event, will be held this year on Saturday, February 9 in Georgetown. The race course is made for nature-lovers since the route follows the hike and bike trail through San Gabriel Park and hugs the banks of the San Gabriel River.

The 13th annual Haunted Hayride and Carnival sponsored by Georgetown parks and recreation will be held on Thursday, October 25 from 6 to 9 pm. Last year, nearly 500 people attended this popular fall event.
