Haunted Hayride

The 14th annual Haunted Hayride and Carnival, sponsored by the Georgetown Parks and Recreation Department, will be held October 30, 2008 from 6-9 p.m.

Hayrides begin outside the Georgetown Community Center at 6 p.m. Ticket sales will STOP at 8:30 p.m. Tickets will be $2 for children 6-13 years old, and $3 for children 14 years or older and adults. Children under 5 are free.

The Carnival will be held inside the Community Center from 6-9 p.m. Admission is free, but each booth or activity charges a fee to participate.

The annual Haunted Hayride and Carnival, sponsored by the Georgetown Parks and Recreation Department, is usually held the Thursday before Halloween. Hayrides begin outside the Recreation Center at 6:00 p.m. and follow a trail through sites and scenes acted out by live performers.

Ticket sales end at 8:30 p.m. which allows all who have purchased tickets to get through the hayride. Admission to the carnival is free, but each booth or activity charges a fee to participate.
