Senior Programs

The senior adult program at Georgetown Parks and Recreation is also know as KYDSS (Keeping Young Doing Senior Stuff).

The KYDSS program is offered from September through May each year. The main activity that is offered in this program is a day trip once a month to a variety of locations.

The KYDSS have a meeting on the second Thursday of each month at 10:00am. This meeting is always held at the Georgetown Tennis Center which is located at 400 Serenada Drive. During the meeting, we celebrate birthdays for the month, discuss past trips, brainstorm for future trips and announce the trip for the month.

Participants attending the meeting have the first option to register for the trip. Costs of the trips vary depending on the location and admission fees of our destination. There are no membership-type fees to be a part of the group. Just come to the next meeting and join in.
