Modifications to the Randy Morrow Trail to begin June 28; sections closed during construction

The City of Georgetown Parks Department will begin modifications to the Randy Morrow Trail beginning the week of June 28, 2021. The purpose of the work will be to bring the trail into compliance with accessibility standards.

The project will begin at the 2.1 mile marker at Chandler Park and progress to the east. Concrete trail sections will be removed and replaced. Sections under construction will not be passable. The public is requested to use alternate trails throughout the construction process which will be completed by the end of September, pending weather delays.
