City hosts ‘Sing 2’ on June 9
Location: The Legacy Pavilion, San Gabriel Park, 445 E. Morrow St.
Georgetown Parks and Recreation’s Sunset Movie Series is a free summer film series.
Bring a blanket or chairs, some snacks and enjoy the family movies we have scheduled this summer. Come out early for free popcorn and activities!
All movies will begin at dusk, around 8:30 p.m.
Movies will be canceled if weather conditions are predicted to be too wet or unsafe. Cancellations will be decided by 2 p.m. on the date of the event, and notice will be posted on our website, Facebook, Twitter and Instagram.

- Blankets and chairs are allowed

- Friendly dogs on leash are welcome

Summer 2023 dates
June 9 – Sing 2 (PG)
Theater owner Buster Moon sets his sights on producing a brand-new musical with his troupe in the glamorous Redshore City. To gain the support of a ruthless music mogul, he pitches that he’ll feature Clay Calloway, a legendary but elusive rock singer as part of the show. Now, all the group needs to do is find the recluse and persuade him to perform with them.
Come early to celebrate Family Health & Fitness Day! Celebrated in June each year, this special day promotes the importance of parks and recreation in keeping communities healthy and active. We’ll have an obstacle course to get your family moving and some fun giveaways!

We are looking for some volunteers to help with our Sunset Movie Series! This fun summer event will take place inside San Gabriel Park at our Legacy Pavilion. Volunteers will help with set up, giving out swag, or helping with popcorn.
