COVID-19 Update: Administration Office, Recreation Center and Tennis Center closed to the public; Garey Park remains open

UPDATE March 18, 2020:

In an effort to slow the spread of the virus in our community, the City is taking steps to limit face-to-face interactions with the public.

Effective 8 a.m. March 19, all City facilities will close to the public through May 11. This closure includes the lobby at the Parks and Recreation Administration Office. The Recreation and Tennis Centers closed to the public on Monday, March 16.

If you have immediate questions while the facilities are closed, please contact parks@georgetown.org or tennis@georgetown.org. These facilities will be staffed Monday-Friday from 8 a.m.-5 p.m. to answer phone calls and emails.

New cemetery sales will be limited to immediate need only. Appointments must be made over the phone by calling (512) 930-3595.

Private reservations and events taking place until May 11, 2020 will be canceled. Events may be canceled for a full refund or rescheduled at the request of the renter. We are not accepting any new reservations for private events taking place during this time period.

Garey Park will remain open with regular hours during this time. All transactions must occur via the Gate House window. The lobby is closed to the public. All other parks are also open.
