Texas Whitewater

Join us as we head to a scenic Texas Hill Country river for some whitewater kayaking. We welcome beginners and experienced paddlers alike. Participants will receive instruction in river safety, river reading, and basic kayak handling. We will provide sit-on-top kayaks, paddles, life jackets, storage bags, and river guides. You will need to bring a sack lunch, two quart-sized water bottles, swimsuit, water shoes, sunblock, a change of clothes, and money for dinner.  Due to COVID-19 participants have the option to meet us on location or ride in a city van. No discount will be given for driving yourselves. Additional fees may apply for parking or park entry if using your personal vehicle. Due to the nature of this trip having separate put in and take out locations, any participants driving their own vehicles will be required to ride in a city van for the shuttle portion of the trip. Masks are optional, but not mandatory. All participants should self-check prior to attending the program.  If you are experiencing any symptoms of COVID, have recently been exposed to someone that is showing symptoms or has tested positive for COVID-19, or are awaiting the results of a COVID test, please do not attend.
