Garey Park is open daily, including holidays.
Spring/Summer (April 1-Sept. 30) – open 8 a.m.-8 p.m.
Fall/Winter (Oct. 1-March 31) – open 8 a.m.-6 p.m.

No admittance within 30 minutes of posted closing time.
Hours may vary for special events.

Garey Park is located approximately 6.5 miles west of Interstate 35 on RM 2243 (Leander Rd.) and abuts the western-most edge of the City of Georgetown’s Extra Territorial Jurisdiction.

Daily Entrance Fee

Day passes allow day use for a driver and up to one passenger in a personal vehicle. Additional passengers are charged $2/person. Children ages 3 and under are admitted free. Entry is free on Tuesdays from Sept. 1-May 31.

Park entrance fees will be waived for the first two weeks of operations. Park admission fees will begin on June 25.

Fees are collected at the Gate House during park hours.

Passenger Vehicle (up to 2 people): $5 Resident/$10 Nonresident
Additional Person: $2 Resident/Nonresident
Children ages 3 and under: Free

Buses/Vans

Groups (scouts, church groups, youth camps, etc.) traveling in vehicles with a capacity of 16 or more pay $35 per bus, regardless of residency status. For groups of 16 or more, please notify park staff of intended visit at least two weeks in advance, and are encouraged to reserve a pavilion.

Equestrian Riders

Enjoy 4.68 miles of equestrian trails with your horse. Equestrian passes include access to the arena, with truck and trailer parking, day pens, water stations and a wash rack.

Equestrian Rider: $8 Resident/$12 Nonresident

 

Annual Passes

Annual passes provide unlimited entry into Garey Park during park hours for a pass holder and any guests who are riding in the same vehicle, for one year (valid through the date of purchase); any equestrian riders are an additional fee. Annual passes are non-transferable.

Annual passes can be purchased at the Gate House during park hours.

Garey Park Annual Pass: $100 Resident/$150 Nonresident

You can purchase a second pass for an additional family member who lives in the same household for $20 Resident/$25 Nonresident.

Equestrian Rider Annual Pass

Garey Park Annual Pass holders who would like to bring their horse to the park can purchase an additional Equestrian Rider Annual Pass. Passes are sold per rider and are non-transferable.

Equestrian Rider Annual Pass:
$100 Annual Pass + $75 Equestrian Pass=$175 Resident
$150 Annual Pass + $100 Equestrian Pass=$250 Nonresident
