Georgetown Recreation Center expands operating hours beginning Aug. 17

Beginning Monday, Aug. 17, the Georgetown Recreation Center will expand operating hours and services.

Day pass sales will resume, along with open gym time, with COVID-19 restrictions in place. The Teen/Senior side will remain closed, and childcare will not be offered at this time.

Modified operating hours
Monday – Friday: 5:30 a.m.-9 p.m.; closed for cleaning 10:30-11 a.m. and 2:30-3 p.m.
Saturday: 7 a.m.-7 p.m.; closed for cleaning 12:30-1 p.m.
Sunday: CLOSED

Open gym hours (effective Aug. 17-Sept. 12)
Monday-Friday: 5:30-8:30 a.m.; 12:30-2:30 p.m.; and 6-8:30 p.m.
Saturday: 7 a.m.-12:30 p.m. and 2:30-6:30 p.m.

The following open gym restrictions are in effect:

  • Limit one member or family unit per goal
  • Bring your own ball
  • No pick-up games
  • Masks required

Pickleball hours (effective Aug. 17-Sept. 12)
Tuesday and Thursday: 9-10:30 a.m. and 11 a.m.-12:30 p.m.
Wednesday: 6-8:45 p.m.
Saturday: 9 a.m.-12:30 p.m.

Reservations are required and may be made up to two weeks in advance.

Recreational Swimming
Recreational swimming in the indoor pool will be allowed beginning Aug. 17. The capacity is 50% and masks are required while on the pool deck.
