Youth Volleyball Leagues
Georgetown Parks & Recreation invites your child to join our Youth Girls’ Volleyball Leagues! We encourage all parents and coaches to make this a fun learning experience for our children. We do not keep win/loss records in these leagues. We do emphasize fun, friendship, sportsmanship, and learning over winning and losing, and every child will have the opportunity to play.

The first Saturday will be for practices and the remaining eight Saturdays will be games.
The Parent Meeting will be held at the Georgetown Community Center on Tuesday, January 23 at 7 p.m. This will be a combined Parent Meeting/Coach Clinic. This is where you will learn about league rules, how to set up a Team Sideline online account (for team schedules and rosters), and if there are any changes from previous seasons.
All participants and volunteer coaches will receive a team T-shirt in the third week and a medal at the end of the season. A Picture Day will be scheduled with team and individual portraits provided by a vendor. You may purchase packages directly from the vendor.
VOLUNTEER COACHES NEEDED! All coaching is provided by unpaid parent volunteers. We rely on you to make this a fun, non-competitive way for kids to learn the sport. No experience is required – just a good attitude! Because the safety of our participants is our highest priority, all volunteer Coaches must pass a background check before the season begins.
