Indoor Pool at the Recreation Center to close Feb. 8-March 31 for HVAC replacement

Starting Monday, February 8, the Indoor Pool at the Georgetown Recreation Center will be closed in order to replace the HVAC system. We anticipate this closure to last through March. Dates are subject to change, so please continue to check our website at parks.georgetown.org for the latest information on the progress of this project.

The goal of the HVAC replacement is to improve the temperature and humidity regulation within the pool area, as well as decrease the amount of time chloramines stay at the surface of the water.

During this closure, all user groups, programs and open swim will be accommodated at the Village Pool, 370 Village Commons Blvd. The Village Pool is heated, however there are no locker rooms or showers.
