New Year, New You Challenge kicks off on Jan. 2 at the Georgetown Recreation Center

Get a jump start on your 2019 fitness goals with the New Year, New You Challenge at the Georgetown Recreation Center.

Pick up a BINGO card at the front desk to get started. The program kicks off on Wednesday, Jan. 2 and runs through the end of the month.

Fitness courses are not included in the Challenge and do not count toward points accumulated. Each box on the BINGO card must be initialed by the class instructor or Georgetown Recreation Center staff.

Classes/Points:

Cardio
5 points

Includes: Cardio Fusion, Circuit Training, Cycling, Dance Class, Quick Cardio, Silver Sneakers Circuit, Step ‘N Sculpt, Tabata and Zumba

Strength Classes
5 points

Includes: Body Toning, Cross Training, Glutes & Guts, Pilates, Piyo, Power Pilates, Strength & Core, Silver Sneakers Classic and Silver Sneakers Splash

Mind Body Classes
5 points

Includes: Balance & Stretch, Beginner Yoga, Hatha Yoga, Power Stretch, Silver Sneakers Yoga, Yoga, Yogafit, Yoga Flow

Try New Activities
5 points

Includes: Basketball, Lap Swimming, Pickleball, Racquetball, Take a Class, Track, Volleyball, Water Walking

Work Out with a Buddy

Bring a friend. Meet up with a friend. Make a friend. Be a friend. Work out with intentional interaction.

Rewards:

  • Get a BINGO (fill a row) – earn a high five
  • 25 points – earn one individual day pass
  • 50 points – earn some swag
  • 75 points – Earn one fee-based class
  • 100 points – Earn a t-shirt
  • Fill the entire card (135 points) – earn one individual one-month membership
