Recreation Center indoor pool to remain closed until further notice

Following the successful completion of the natatorium HVAC replacement, stachybotrys (black mold) growth was discovered. An Environmental Hygienist was consulted and has prepared a remediation plan to include the removal of all sheetrock, followed by reconstruction with a non-sheetrock wall covering. The indoor pool will continue to remain closed during demolition, remediation, and reconstruction of the affected area. We are uncertain of a reopening date at this time; however it is unlikely that the indoor pool will be open prior to the end of June.

We will continue to offer the Village Pool, 370 Village Commons Blvd., as an alternative for open swim. Beginning Monday, May 10, Williams Drive Pool will have limited open swim hours, 4:30-8:30 p.m., Monday-Friday.

We will update this site, as well as send email communication when a reopening date is determined. We apologize for the inconvenience.
