Sunset Movie Series returns to San Gabriel Park June 10

Sunset Movie Series in San Gabriel park

Location: The Legacy Pavilion, San Gabriel Park, 445 E. Morrow St.

Georgetown Parks and Recreation’s Sunset Movie Series is a free summer film series.

Bring a blanket or chairs, some snacks and enjoy the family movies we have scheduled this summer. Come out early for free popcorn and activities!

All movies will begin at dusk, around 8:30 p.m.

Movies will be canceled if weather conditions are predicted to be too wet or unsafe. Cancellations will be decided by 2 p.m. on the date of the event, and notice will be posted on our website, Facebook, Twitter and Instagram.

Tips

    • Glass is prohibited
    • Smoking is prohibited
    • Blankets and chairs are allowed
    • Personal food is allowed
    • Friendly dogs on leash are welcome
    • Please help keep our parks clean and pack out what you pack in

Kumandra is a place where humans and dragons peacefully coexist. When sinister monsters called the Druun threaten the community, however, the dragons readily make a sacrifice to save the human race. Hundreds of years later, the same threat returns. It is up to Raya, a lone warrior, to stop them once and for all. She tracks down the last dragon alive. But as she embarks on her journey, she realizes that it will take more than a dragon and its magic to save her world.
