Water Safety Day

Kick off the summer swim season with a fun-filled and educational family event designed to increase public awareness about drowning prevention and water safety.

Visitors will learn important safety topics such as: drowning prevention, water rescue skills, proper life jacket use and more. Booths will be set up with games, activities and prize giveaways! Visit all vendors and receive your choice of $10 off summer 2019 swim lessons* OR $20 off a summer 2019 pool pass*.

*Resident/Nonresident rates apply. Only one discount allowed per family. Space may be limited in swim lessons, and registration is first come, first served. Discounts valid on swim lessons or pool passes for the summer 2019 season only.

This event is free and open to all ages. Attendees are also welcome to stay and swim, and daily pool fees will be waived for this event. Children 6 and under must have a guardian actively participating with them in the water at all times.

In the event of inclement weather, Water Safety Day will move into the Recreation Center Indoor Pool area.

Georgetown Learn to Swim will be offering free swim lesson evaluations to determine which level is best for your child’s abilities.
