Water Safety Month

Kick off the summer swim season with fun-filled and educational resources designed to increase public awareness about drowning prevention and water safety. Drowning is preventable; learn to be safe in, on, and around the water – lives depend upon it. Throughout the month, we’ll be sharing safety tips, educational videos, activity packets and more!

We’re rolling out a new theme each week on our website and social media.

  • Week One: Pool Safety
  • Week Two: Lake Safety
  • Week Three: Beach Safety
  • Week Four: Water Watchers

Stay tuned to our website and Facebook page all month!

National Water Safety Month is an annual awareness campaign coordinated by the Pool & Hot Tub Alliance with support from the American Red Cross, National Recreation and Park Association and World Waterpark Association.
