Garey Park closed Jan. 15; water fountains and restrooms closed at all parks

Update, Jan. 18: Due to the forecasted overnight freezing temperatures, park restrooms and water fountains will remain closed through Monday, Jan. 22.

Update, Jan. 14: Due to the forecast for cold and wintry weather, Garey Park, 6450 RM 2243, will be closed on Monday, Jan. 15.

Beginning Thursday, Jan. 11, Parks staff will be shutting off water fountains along trails and closing park restrooms in preparation for the upcoming freezing temperatures. These amenities will not reopen until the weather passes.

The water will also be turned off at the IOOF cemetery.
