Embrace your love of music and dance! Through our social dance classes, beginner and experienced dancers alike will continue to learn and improve, building skills needed to dance anytime, anywhere, with anyone.
Dance classes are offered year-round for youth and adults.
$40 Resident/$50 Nonresident
Each course will focus on a popular country western dance. Novices will learn new skills and gain self-confidence, while more experienced dancers will pick up new steps and polish their technique. No partner is necessary to register. Participants will rotate partners, with everyone learning to both lead and follow. You will be able to dance anytime, anywhere, with anyone!

Kinderdance programs encourage children to love learning by associating it with things that come naturally – music, movement and dance. Program provided by Kinderdance Austin.
KinderTots is a creative movement-based class for toddlers that will focus on motor skill development, coordination, rhythm and basic dance skills. Only one parent/guardian per child, please. Participants should wear clothing they can move freely in, such as a t-shirt, shorts/leggings, etc. Ballet shoes are encouraged.
Kinderdance is a beginning dance class, teaching the basics of ballet, tap and creative dance. We start at the beginning of ballet/tap technique and work our way up to new skills in each successive course. No parents/guardians or other spectators are permitted in the class, to encourage the dancers to focus on the lesson. Ballet shoes and tap shoes are required; dance attire (leotard & tights for girls / t-shirt & athletic pants for boys) is encouraged.
KinderYoga is a non-spiritual yoga class that will focus on yoga breathing, individual yoga poses, mindfulness activity and relaxation techniques. No parents/guardians or other spectators are permitted in the class, to encourage the children to focus on the lesson. Yoga mat is required. Children should wear comfortable athletic clothing they can move freely in.

DanceFit for Kids is more than your typical dance fitness program, it is specifically created with the social, emotional, and physical developmental stages of children in mind. In addition to dancing for fun and fitness, the body-positive curriculum will incorporate ice breakers, games, basic music terminology and dance education.
Coaching is always positive and encouraging in order to build confidence and self-esteem.
Participants are welcome to request their favorite songs and/or dance steps, which keeps the class engaging and allows maximum interaction and participation.
Saturdays, 1:30-3 p.m.
The Saturday afternoon Practice Dance is a no frills public dance providing a great way to practice your dance moves under the supervision of instructor Kerry Kelly. Participants will be able to dance on their own without instruction, while having the opportunity to ask Kerry for suggestions if needed.
$60 Resident/$75 Nonresident (per hour for 1 or 2 people)
5 lesson package – $300 Resident/$350 Nonresident

Kerry Kelly teaches private lessons in social partner-dancing. With over ten years of teaching experience and innumerable miles under her suede-soled shoes, Kerry believes there is nothing in the world like social dance for the camaraderie, sheer fun, and benefits to the body, mind, and spirit.
