REGISTER FOR SENIOR ADULT ADVENTURE PROGRAMS
Hiking
March the Dragon!

Ages 60+
$35 Resident/$42 Nonresident
Thursdays in March
8 a.m.- 4 p.m.
Join other hiking enthusiasts over four days to hike the 26-mile Goodwater Trail around Lake Georgetown which resembles a dragon.
• March 2 – Overlook Park to Cedar Hollow
• March 9 – Cedar Hollow to Tejas Park
• March 23 – Tejas Park to Russell Park
• March 30 Russell Park to Overlook Park.
Participants should be honest with their abilities before registering as this trail includes elevation changes, rocks, exposed roots, and the possibility of water crossings. Participants that complete the entire loop will be rewarded with a commemorative t-shirt to show off your accomplishment!
Participants that register for the full loop will be charged a discounted rate of $100 R/$125 NR.
Kayaking
Beginner Kayaking at Blue Hole

Ages 60+
$30 Resident/$40 Nonresident
Wednesday, April 19, 9:30-11:30 a.m.
Wednesday, April 19, 12:30-2:30 p.m.
This two-hour beginner class will introduce participants to
kayaking in a flat water environment. Instruction and all necessary gear will be provided, including kayaks, paddles, and personal flotation devices. Details will be sent via email about a week prior to the activity.
Willis Creek Kayak Adventure

Ages 60+
$45 Resident/$55 Nonresident
Wednesday, April 26, 8 a.m.-2 p.m.
Kayaks, paddles, personal flotation devices, transportation, and instruction are included. Details will be sent via email about a week prior to the activity.
Belton Lake Kayak Adventure

Ages 60+

Tuesday, May 2, 8 a.m.-2 p.m.
Kayaks, paddles, personal flotation devices, transportation and instruction are included. Participants should come dressed in their kayaking attire including shoes such as sandals, old sneakers or water shoes, no flip-flops or crocs. Please bring drinking water, a hat, sunscreen, and sunglasses. Details will be sent via email about a week prior to the activity.
Lake Georgetown Kayak Adventure

Ages 60+
$45 Resident/$55 Nonresident
Tuesday, May 9, 8-11:30 a.m.
Kayaks, paddles, personal flotation devices and instruction are included. Participants should come dressed in their kayaking attire including shoes such as sandals, old sneakers or water shoes, no flip-flops or crocs. Please bring drinking water, a hat, sunscreen, and sunglasses. Details will be sent via email about a week prior to the activity.
Senior Adult River Kayaking
Ages 60+
$50 Resident/$65 Nonresident
Wednesday, May 17, 8 a.m.-8 p.m.
Join us for a kayaking adventure on a Texas River! Kayaks, paddles, personal flotation devices, transportation, and instruction are included. Participants should come dressed in their kayaking attire including shoes such as sandals, old sneakers or water shoes, no flip-flops or crocs. Please bring a sack lunch, drinking water, a hat, sunscreen, sunglasses, a towel, a change of clothes and money for supper. Actual paddling location and other details will be announced in an email that will be sent about a week prior to the activity.
*All participants must have completed a previous kayaking program with Georgetown Parks and Recreation in order to participate.

- 2-hour kayaking – $300 resident/$400 nonresident
- 4-hour kayaking – $400 resident/$500 nonresident
- 2-hour hiking – $300 resident/$400 nonresident
- 4-hour archery – $300 resident/$400 nonresident
- 2-hour recreational fishing* – $300 resident/$400 nonresident
*This is not a guided fishing trip.
Private group rates are based on the residency of the organization/individual booking the program.
Rates include participation for up to 10 people, transportation to/from Georgetown, park entry fees (if traveling with Georgetown Parks & Recreation), all necessary outdoor gear and staff.
