Outdoor Athletic Facilities
All outdoor athletic fields are available for rent to organizations, individuals and private groups. Management of Events/Tournaments are the responsibility of the renter and may not be sanctioned by or affiliated with Georgetown Parks and Recreation in any way.

McMaster Athletic Complex

The McMaster Athletic Complex offers four softball fields with covered seating, two soccer fields, four sand volleyball courts, and a multi-purpose field that can be used for football, soccer and lacrosse. Other amenities include a concession stand, restrooms, playground, water mister, horseshoe and washer pits, pickleball courts, picnic areas and a large parking lot. All are available for rent to organizations, individuals and private groups.
Our softball fields’ outfield fences are 8′ high and have 16′ crushed granite warning tracks. Field 1 and Field 2 fences are at 300′, while Field 3 and Field 4 fences are at 315′. Foul lines have 20′ yellow winged foul poles. The fields are illuminated with tournament-quality lighting installed by MUSCO Lighting Inc. Lights are not included in rentals but are available for an additional fee.
VFW Softball Fields

The VFW Park includes three youth softball fields, concession stand, and restrooms, as well as adequate parking, field lighting, 2 batting cages, bleachers and a playground.
The softball fields’ outfield fences are 6′ high. All fields are 200’ fences. The fields are illuminated with tournament-quality lighting installed by MUSCO Lighting Inc. Lights are not included in rentals but are available for an additional fee.

The 180-acre San Gabriel Park also includes fields for soccer, football, lacrosse and baseball. The Sports Fields in San Gabriel Park include: two youth soccer fields, one large multi-purpose field, one adult baseball field, and one sand volleyball court.

Field Reservation Policies and Procedures
These policies may vary between facilities and may be changed at any time throughout the year. Special privileges or exceptions to policies and procedures must be reviewed and accepted by the Georgetown Parks and Recreation Department.
- A rental request form must be submitted in order to be considered for a rental. Rental request will be reviewed and approved/denied within 24 hours of submission.
- All fields must be used for their designed purpose only. For example, the McMaster softball fields are designed for slow pitch softball only. Baseball and fast pitch softball is not permitted.
- All appropriate rental fees or deposits required must be paid to finalize rental. Fees not paid according to policy may result in the loss of the reservation. For a detailed list of all required fees and deposits, please visit the following website.
- Cancellations will be subject to refund policy and forfeiture of deposits.
- For safety reasons, field lights must be scheduled 30 minutes before sunset.
- Glass, amplified music, and pets are prohibited on the premises.
- Vehicles parked in fire lanes or undesignated areas are subject to being ticketed and towed.
- Soft toss is not permitted against softball fences.
