Join us this summer for a music series at Garey Park! Live on the Lawn is a monthly event featuring local musicians in an intimate outdoor setting on the lawn at Garey House.

2024 dates

May 29 – Second Hand Rose Band

Secondhand Rose Band is comprised of some of the most seasoned & accomplished country, blues and jazz players in the greater Austin area.

  • Tickets for the May 29 event go on sale Wednesday, May 1 at 8 a.m.

June 26 – Home at Last
Home At Last Band plays favorites from Steely Dan, Pink Floyd, Doobie Brothers, Eagles, & more!

  • Tickets for the June 26 event go on sale Saturday, June 1 at 8 a.m.

July 31 – Not Past 11
Central Texas based Band with a catalog that includes big band swing, ’70’s & 80’s funk, jazz, and rock.

  • Tickets for the July 31 event go on sale Monday, July 1 at 8 a.m.

Ages 4-9 Child ticket required (free)
Ages 10+ Regular ticket required ($5)

Live on the Lawn FAQ

Do I need to pre-register to attend?

Yes, pre-registration is required to ensure that attendance does not exceed what the space allows. The fee to attend is $5/person and children under 10 are free.

What can I bring?

Food, nonalcoholic beverages, blankets, chairs, stadium cushions, friendly dogs on leashes.

What is prohibited?

Outside alcohol and glass. Smoking is also prohibited at Garey Park.

Where is the stage located?

On the back porch of Garey House. Seating will be on the Event Lawn.

What time should I arrive?

The event area, food trucks and bar will open at 6 p.m. Entry will not be allowed after 8:30 p.m.

Will food and drinks be available onsite?

Vendors will be onsite with food and drinks available. We will have a bar on site for 21+ to enjoy alcoholic beverages. Attendees are not permitted to bring their own alcoholic beverages.
