Tales on the Trails
Parks & Recreation has teamed up with the Georgetown Public Library to combine two of our favorite things: stories and outdoor exploration! Check out our latest program, Tales on the Trails.
What is Tales on the Trails?
Tales on the Trails is a fun way to enjoy reading and the outdoors. It is our take on the Story Walk you may have seen in other communities. Pages of our featured children’s book will be posted along the walkway so that readers can experience the importance of reading, spending time with friends, and connecting with nature in a fun way. The Story Walk Project was created in 2007 by Anne Ferguson of Montpelier, VT and developed in collaboration with the Kellogg Hubbard Library.
