Edwards Park PoppiesGeorgetown Parks and Recreation takes pride in creating and preserving outdoor spaces. The Department operates and maintains more than 1,500 acres of parkland, nearly 18 miles of trails, dozens of athletic facilities, 5 pools, 4 splash pads, a Tennis Center, Recreation Center and Garey Park.

Additionally, the Department provides opportunities for positive experiences and personal growth by providing a wide variety of recreation opportunities for youth and adults in the areas of athletics, aquatics, instructional programs, specials events and senior adult activities.

Georgetown Recreation Center

Hours (modified due to COVID-19)
Sunday: Closed
Monday-Friday: Open 5:30-10:30 a.m.; 11a.m.-2:30 p.m., 3-9 p.m.
Closed for cleaning 10:30-11 a.m., 2:30-3 p.m.
Saturday: Open 7 a.m.-12:30 p.m.; 1-7 p.m.
Closed for cleaning: 12:30-1 p.m.

Georgetown Tennis Center

Hours (modified due to COVID-19)
Sunday: 1-6 p.m.
Monday-Thursday: 8 a.m.-8 p.m.
Friday-Saturday: 8 a.m.-6 p.m.

Garey Park

Spring/Summer (April 1-September 30) – 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.
Fall/Winter (October 1-March 31) – 8 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Facilities will be closed on public holidays.
