About Georgetown Parks & Recreation
Georgetown Parks & Recreation takes pride in creating and preserving outdoor spaces. The Department oversees the maintenance and operations of 42 parks throughout the City that encompass 1,081 acres including:
- 8 baseball/softball diamonds
- 12 rectangle fields
- 12 tennis courts
- 33 playgrounds
- 18+ miles of trails
Additionally, Georgetown Parks & Recreation provides opportunities for positive experiences and personal growth by providing a wide variety of recreation opportunities for youth and adults in the areas of athletics, aquatics, instructional programs, specials events and senior adult activities.
