San Jose Park is near the intersection of Maple and 15th St. Park hours are typically dawn to dusk.
San Jose Park has a large playground, a summer seasonal splash pad, basketball courts, restrooms, a pavilion, tables, and BBQ grills.
San Jose Park Splash Pad
Open 9:00 a.m.-8:00 p.m., April 1 through September 30.
The 1,656 square-foot water play area has 15 spray features, including a spray archway called a Super Soaker, a shower tunnel that sprays water in an archway from the ground, a T-shaped pole that spins and sprays called a Storm Spinner, popcorn jets that shoot water from the ground, and a post that sprays water in a bell shape. The play area has a shade awning on one side.
The splash pad will use recirculated water that is filtered, chlorinated, and stored in a tank below the surface. Parks staff will check chlorine levels daily. A motion sensor activates the spray features to run for several minutes before turning off automatically.
San Jose Park Pavilion Rentals
The San Jose Park Pavilion accommodates approximately 32 people and has grills and access to restrooms. It also offers handicap accessibility.
Fees vary depending on the length of the reservation and the address of the renter.
Half-day: $50 R / $65 NR Full-day: $75 R / $95 NR
- Half-day is 8:00 a.m.–2:00 p.m. or 3:00 p.m.-sunset. Full-day is 8:00 a.m.–sunset.
- Resident (R) lives within the Georgetown City Limits. Nonresident (NR) lives outside the City Limits, in the extra-territorial jurisdiction or another city.
