Outdoor Adventure

Group of kayakers

The Georgetown Parks and Recreation’s Adventure Program, located near Austin, Texas, was started over 20 years ago and has grown to serve numerous adults and youth in the Georgetown, Texas area. The Outdoor Adventure Program operates year-round and offers outdoor adventure opportunities to participants of all ages through weekend trips, after school programs, instructional clinics, and a summer teen adventure camp. Through these many programs, participants are given the opportunity to enjoy the great outdoors, learn outdoor skills, and be challenged in an adventure environment. Although our program prearranges scheduled trips, we will also work with individual groups to customize any outdoor experience based on the group’s goals and skill level.
